New head of Moldova's State Chancellery introduced to staff

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Maia Sandu today introduced the new secretary general of the government, Andrei Spinu, to the staff of the State Chancellery, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The PM congratulated the hew chief of the State Chancellery on taking over the office, noting that this implies high responsibility. Sandu voiced confidence that Andrei Spinu had the needed managerial competences.
„There are a lot of things we should do in this team. Andrei is relatively young, but he has experience also in the public sector and in the private one. I think that he has good managerial capacities, to be able to organize the team, to ensure a correct and efficient administration of the public assets and money, so that we thus re-become an efficient team, able to prove results,” Maia Sandu said.
For his part, the new secretary general of the government thanked the prime minister for the trust provided, stressing that his work at the State Chancellery would be based on the principle of efficiency. “I want us to be a team and, first of all, a team with those who are employed now. Secondly, we should try to make a team with the entire government; there are also the ministries, seven institutions, which we must help and be united. But the most important thing is for us to make a team with the citizens. We should think how to optimize the resources, money spent, how to work out policies and all that we do should be clear for the citizens. The task of this cabinet is to bring normality to the country and well-being to our citizens,” Andrei Spinu said.
The new secretary general of the government, Andrei Spinu, was appointed to office at a cabinet meeting on 18 July.
