Moldovan Democrat MP gives up mandate

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - Otilia Dragutanu, who has been elected MP on the lists of the Democratic Party (PDM), today informed that she leaves the parliament.
Dragutanu wrote that, ”after a long period of reflection, I understood that I am not for politics and it is not for me.”
„I have always known to find my place and work where my abilities used to bring maximum of usefulness. I think that an opposition party needs somebody with other profile and temper and with more political experience. I am quite grateful to the people who trusted me and I wish success to my colleagues from the parliament in the not at easy work,” Otilia Dragutanu wrote in a posting on her official page on a social network.
Otilia Dragutanu became lawmaker following the last February elections.
Several days ago, an independent MP, Viorel Melnic, gave up his mandate.
