Police discover more irregularities at route mini-buses from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - Employees of the Chisinau municipality’s Police Department have discovered more irregularities at route mini-buses from the capital, following verifications made at final stops last week.  

Among the irregularities detected, there are the exploitation of vehicles with technical defects in the braking system or in the steering device, in the devices of illumination or signaling, exploitation of vehicles re-equipped without authorization, as well as unauthorized placing of advertising on vehicles.  

As a result, 11 official reports were compiled, with the imposing of fines worth from 450 lei to 600 lei and three penalty points. At the same time, three mini-buses remained without registration plates and were banned from moving on route. Firms’ managers were warned to no longer allow the work of the transport units, the technical state of which does not meet the requirements.
