Chisinau-based Court of Appeal to have new leadership

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - Ion Plesca has left the office of president of the Chisinau-based Court of Appeal. Anatol Pahopol will exercise the interim duties of the Court’s president. The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) took a decision to this effect today.

Anatol Pahopol will be the acting president of the Court of Appeal till early next August, when the deputy president of the Court, Nelea Budai, will return from leave and will take over the interim office till the selection of a new president.

At the same time, CSM informed about the starting of a contest for the election of a new president of the Court of Appeal.

Ion Plesca was appointed president of the Chisinau Court of Appeal in 2015.
