Euro to slightly cheapen against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - The single European currency will cheapen by 0.10 lei on 24 July and will cost 19.59 lei, according to data posted by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

At the same time, the dollar will cost 17.52 lei, - by 0.03 lei less than today.

The Romanian leu will depreciate by 0.02 lei to 4.15 lei.

As for the Russian rouble and Ukrainian hryvnia, BNM set similar quotations to the ones for today. Thus, the hryvnia will continue to cost 0.68 lei and the rouble - 0.27 lei.

According to BNM’s data, in June 2019, the degree coverage of the net demand of currency on behalf of economic agents by net supply of currency from private people stood at 103.9 per cent, against 84.6 per cent in May 2019.
