Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ – The General Prosecutor's Office (PG) has examined the denunciation of Minister of Internal Affairs, Andrei Nastase, and, as a result, has issued a refusal order to start criminal prosecution on the grounds that there is no act of "usurpation of state power".
According to the PG's information and media communication service, "that decision was adopted as a result of factual analysis, assessment of evidence being administered, based on legal reasoning."
About the adopted decision, the institution notified the author of the denunciation, in the manner established by law, by explaining to him the manner and the term of challenge.
In late June, Andrei Nastase filed a complaint with PG on the "usurpation of state power".
