Moldovan SP meets U.S. ambassador

Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ – Speaker of Parliament, Zinaida Greceanii, and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the USA to Moldova, Dereck J. Hogan, have addressed during a meeting the political agenda and priorities of the Parliamentary Majority (MP) for upcoming period, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The parties have discussed the results of official visit to European Parliament (EP) on 24 July, carried out by SP and PM. Zinaida Greceanii reiterated the plenary support of MP for the initiated reforms for development of Moldova. She reaffirmed the common commitment to a balanced foreign policy and determination to build lasting friendship relations with the East and West.

The officials discussed the prospects for developing commercial – economic relations and attracting investments in Moldova. Zinaida Greceanii specified that a first step towards achieving it is strengthening the rule of law and creating strong institutions to ensure a high level of living for people.
