Ambassador of United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland completes mandate in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ – We do not pursue the goal of creating a story of success on paper. The people have great confidence in us, but they also have very high expectations. This is acknowledged by the Parliamentary Majority (MP) and we are determined to succeed, has said, Speaker of Parliament, Zinaida Greceanii, at a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, Lucy Rebecca Joyce, on Thursday, 25 July, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The SP has specified that it is a unique chance at present to implement the expected reforms by the Moldovan inhabitants and take the state out of captivity. Zinaida Greceanii thanked external partners for support and encouragement, referring in context to results of the official visit to the European Parliament (EP) carried out on 24 July by SP and PM.

The meeting with Lucy Rebecca Joyce was occasioned by the end of her mandate as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Moldova.
