Meteorologists forecast heat in Moldova in next week-end

Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has forecast a week-end with no precipitation and heat.
Meteorologists said that the air temperatures would exceed +30 Celsius degrees during the day and +20 degrees at night.
The warmest weather is expected on 28 and 29 July, when the air temperature is to vary between +32 and +34 degrees.
Thunderstorm rains are possible starting from 30 July, preponderantly in the central and northern Moldova.
In July, the number of days with maximal air temperatures of +30 Celsius degrees oscillates from 3 to 11 days, on average, on Moldova. The last record, 29 days, was noticed in Tiraspol in 2001. The number of days with maximal air temperature of +35 degrees and more, on average, does not exceed one day; yet, in some years, specialists can signal even more days, as for instance, 17 ones, in Falesti in 2012. Days with maximal air temperature of +40 degrees and more are registered quite rarely and in places. Last time, this phenomenon was recorded in Tiraspol in 2007.
