Democrats' party of Moldova submits simple motion on work of minister of finance

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ – The MPs of the Democrats' party of Moldova (PDM) have submitted a simple motion on Friday, 26 July, on the work of the Minister of Finance, Natalia Gavrilita. The motion was presented by PDM MP, Vladimir Cebotari.

The authors of the initiative have been dissatisfied with the work of the Ministry of Finance (MF), led by Natalia Gavrilita. According to Vladimir Cebotari, "in less than 02 months, this ministry has shown itself to be absolutely inefficient." In addition, the authors of the motion criticised the initiative recently announced by MF on meal vouchers and intention to change the VAT rate for the Horeca industry. Against this background, PDM has called for initiation of dismissal procedure Natalia Gavrilita and for renouncement of implied tax initiatives.

Speaker of Parliament, Zinaida Greceanii, has said that the motion was signed by 21 MPs.

The Parliament will decide when to examined the motion.
