Director of Moldova's centralized centre for healthcare public procurement dismissed

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - The director of the Centralized Centre for Healthcare Public Procurement, Ivan Antoci, was dismissed from office today. Health, Labour and Social Protection Minister Ala Nemerenco has made statements to this effect.

The announcement was made after officers of the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA) today morning had made searches at the aforementioned centre on the “insulin file.”

„In these several weeks of silence on insulin, we have not stood back, either at the ministry or at the Medicine Agency, but we could not speak too much, as this would have prevented the inquiry. I hope that today they understood why, after CNA’s searches at the Centralized Centre for Healthcare Public Procurement on the “insulin” file,” Nemerenco wrote on her official page on a social network.
