Moldovan leu to depreciate against Euro, U.S. dollar

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - The national currency will depreciate against the euro and the U.S. dollar in early next week, according to the official exchange rates posted by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, the dollar will appreciate by 0.05 lei and will have an official price of 17.62 lei. The euro will cost 19.62 lei, by 0.04 lei more than today.

At the same time, the Romanian lei will be dearer by 0.01 leu and will have a quotation of 4.15 lei.

BNM set similar quotations for Ukrainian hryvnia and Russian rouble to the ones recorded today. Thus, the rouble will continue to cost 0.27 lei and the hryvnia – 0.69 lei.
