Meteorologists announce yellow code of heat in late July in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ – The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has announced the Yellow Code of heat in late July.
After relatively moderate period for the season, Moldova will be covered with heat, and on extended areas the maximum air temperature will reach up to 33ºC – 34ºC until 31 July.
In this context, physicians particularly caution old people, pregnant women, children and patients with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, allergens to avoid exposure to the sun, opt for open clothing, preferably from natural cloth, cover their heads and take care for hydration.
According to the SHS’s information and media communication service, the rains might occur on Tuesday, 30 July, mostly in the northern region of Moldova. Starting Thursday, 01 August, the weather condition is to cool down, reaching up to 25ºC – 27ºC, during the daytime, and 12ºC – 18ºC at night, on the whole of the territory of Moldova.
