Ruslan Flocea winner of contest for office of director of Moldova's National Anticorruption Centre

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - Ruslan Flocea is the candidate who has got the largest number of points at the contest for the office of director of the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA). The contest was held by the parliament’s juridical commission for rules and immunities today.  

According to a press release by the parliament, Cristina Tarna ranked second and Vitalie Verebceanu is on the third position.  

The official report of the aforementioned commission, which covers the carrying out of the concerned contest, including the average number of points provided to each candidate, will be submitted to parliament, which is to take the final decision.   

The contest for the selection of the candidate for CNA director office was launched on 27 June 2019. Ten candidates submitted their files to the contest.  

Ruslan Flocea is 41 years old. Starting from 2016 so far, he has acted as secretary general at the Moldovan President’s Apparatus. Flocea has earlier worked at CNA.
