The head of state also said that he hopes that Dumitru Robu “will be able to ensure the calling to account of all those who stole from public money, as well as will contribute to the conformable implementation of the reform of the Prosecutor General’s Office.”

„I stressed that the society is expecting truthful inquiries as to the investigation of the bank fraud, state power usurpation in last June and the criminal schemes created in diverse sectors of the country’s economy,” Igor Dodon wrote on his official page of a social network.

The parliament today ruled to put forward the candidacy of Dumitru Robu for the office of acting prosecutor general. Dumitru Robu is the deputy chief prosecutor of the Chisinau municipality.
