ACUM bloc announces candidate for constituency No17 Nisporeni

Chisinau, 13 August /MOLDPRES/- ACUM bloc has decided that Ion Terguta will be candidate for the constituency No17 Nisporeni at the elections on October 20. In this constituency new parliamentary elections will be organized, after former PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc has resigned as MP.

Dumitru Lazar, Nisporeni representative of ACUM bloc, said that the bloc's representatives have decided to go to elections with the same candidate as in the 24 February poll. "Following the dialogue, the members of ACUM bloc in Nisporeni decided to continue supporting the same candidate, Ion Terguta, for the elections due on 20 October,” he said.

MP mandate of constituency No17 Nisporeni was won in the 24 February elections by Vlad Plahotniuc after 72,36% of inhabitants voted for him, other 18,6% opted for Ion Terguta.
