Supreme Security Council holds meeting on important issues

Chisinau, 14 August /MOLDPRES/- The Supreme Security Council / CSS / convened in a meeting today to discuss issues on the theft in the banking system, alienation of unused assets from the National Army from 2015 - 2016, Chisinau Arena project and feeding children in schools and kindergartens.

President Igor Dodon said that acting prosecutor came up with information on how the theft from the banking system was prepared, as well as a report on the case on usurpation of state power.

He noted that CSS members had on the agenda several issues, including the nutrition of children in educational institutions in the country. Dodon pointed out that both he and the members asked the relevant institutions to check the situation in this respect.

Dodon also came with details about the possibility of signing a new agreement between the PSRM and ACUM bloc. "Negotiations between ACUM bloc and the Party of Socialists on signing a permanent political agreement to create a parliamentary majority are on the last hundred meters, and if the next days a consensus on justice reform is reached, the document could be signed next week, ”said Dodon. He said that it was decided that this document should be signed by the head of state.

Earlier this week, the Political Executive Committee of the Socialist Party recommended to the parliamentary faction the signing of a new agreement with the ACUM bloc. Earlier, the leader of the PSRM faction, Vlad Bătrîncea, reiterated the need to sign a new agreement with the ACUM bloc, an opinion supported by Dodon.

So far, the leadership of the ACUM bloc has not come with details about the possibility of signing a new agreement with the PSRM.
