Chisinau, 15 August /MOLDPRES/- The decision of the Central Election Commission on approval of cost estimate for organizing and conducting new parliamentary elections on 20 October 2019 for the position of deputy in some uninominal constituencies will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 16 August.
According to the CEC decision, on October 20, new parliamentary elections will be held in the districts No17, 33, 48 and 50. For elections, 11.9 million lei will be allocated, money coming from the savings made at the 24 February parliamentary elections.
New parliamentary elections are to be held in four constituencies on October 20, concurrently with local elections. The inhabitants of Nisporeni district, the constituency No17, where Vladimir Plahotniuc was elected, those from district No33 (Andrei Nastase), the district No48 (Viorel Melnic) and those in the district No50 Western Europe (Maia Sandu) will be expected to vote.
