Chisinau, 15 August /MOLDPRES/- Activities based on entrepreneurial patents will be allowed until 31 December 2022. This provision is set in a law that will be published on 16 August in the Official Journal of Moldova, while presidential decree on its promulgation.

According to the law, the activity based on a patent will be allowed only for those who, as of December 31, 2019, will hold patents.

According to the legislative changes, the activities based on the patent will be allowed in the commercial markets, as well as in the places authorized by the local public administration.

So far, the legal provisions allowed activities based on entrepreneurial patents until 31 December 2019, the term was extended several times previously.

According to statistics, the number of patent holders is decreasing.
