Moldovan border crossing posts carry out operation Diaspora in August

Chisinau, 15 August /MOLDPRES/ – During August, it is carried out operation Diaspora at border crossing points to ensure the fluidisation of cross – border traffic.

Minister of Internal Affairs, Andrei Nastase, has said, on Thursday, 15 August, within operation, there were installed rehabilitation points in the busiest crossing points, in order to communicate with the citizens, provide drinking water and medical assistance, depending on necessity.

"We try to do our best to make people feel less uncomfortable when crossing the border," said Andrei Nastase.

The statements were made by Andrei Năstase in a briefing held together with the chief of Border Police, Rosian Vasiloi, one month of his office. Nastase said that during this time, at the Border Police, there have been identified several problems "including schemes that could seriously affect national security".
