Moldovan official journal roundup for 16 August

Chisinau, 16 August /MOLDPRES/- The national program in the research and innovation for 2020-2023 and the Action Plan on its implementation were published in the Official Journal of Moldova today.

The national program is the main policy document setting out both the strategic priorities and directions and the development goals in the research and innovation for a period of four years.

The actions included in the plan are - launching research and innovation projects, re-launching the program of grants for short-term mobility for the representatives of the scientific diaspora, stimulating the activity of scientific-technological parks and innovation incubators.

The estimated costs for the implementation of the projects as a result of the competitions according to the priorities and strategic directions are of 224.7 million lei for 2020. They will gradually increase until 2023.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research will present to the government by 30 April a report on the implementation of the Action Plan on the implementation of the National Program in the research and innovation for 2020-2023.
