Saturday, 17 August, to be working day for budget employees of Moldova

Chisinau, 16 August /MOLDPRES/ – Saturday, 17 August, will be a working day for budget employees, according to a decision previously approved by Government.

Thus, the budget employees go to work tomorrow, instead they will have free on Monday, 26 August. As a result, the employees will have a four – day minivacation on the occasion of marking the 27th Independence Day.

According to the Labour Code's (CM) provisions, the Government has the right to transfer working days to other days, as to make optimal use by employees of the rest days and non – working holidays.

The ministries, other central administrative authorities, managers of enterprises, institutions and organisations will ensure, in the considered working days, the efficient activity of subordinated units.

During 2019, the employees of Moldova benefit from 13 days of non – working holidays established by law.
