Yellow code of heat announced this week in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/ – The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has announced by this weekend the Yellow Code (CG) of heat.
According to meteorologists, on 20 – 26 August, the maximum air temperature in the extended areas will reach 35ºC.
The rainfalls with electric discharges are possible on Friday and Saturday, 23 – 24 August, in the northern region of Moldova.
In this context, the physicians alert especially the elderly, pregnant women, children and patients with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, allergies to avoid sun exposure, opt for light clothes, preferably from natural cloth, cover the head and to take care of hydration.
