Euro, U.S. dollar appreciate against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/ – The European single currency (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD) appreciate against Moldovan leu (MDL), on Tuesday, 20 August, according to the official exchange rates displayed by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, EUR costs MDL 19.56 for €1, by MDL 0.12 more than today, while USD adds MDL 0.07, up to the value of MDL 17.61 for $1.

As it stands for Romanian leu (RON), the BNM has set a currency rate of MDL 04.13 for L1, increasing with MDL 0.02. The cost of Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) appreciates by MDL 0.01 up to an official price of MDL 0.70 for ₴1.

The quotation of Russian rouble (RUB) preserves its cost of MDL 0.26 for ₽1.
