Chisinau, 22 August /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the law amending the Law on compulsory health insurance funds for 2019 will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 23 August.

After the amendments to the old document, the mandatory health insurance funds for 2019 will amount to 7709 848.3 thousand lei and to expenses 7709 848.3 thousand lei.

According to the situation as of July 1, 2019, the total revenues were 3 073 871.5 thousand lei, which represents an achievement rate of 42% compared to the approved plan. The executed expenses were 3,194 120.0 thousand lei, with an achievement rate of 42.4%. According to performance results in the first semester, the budget of the compulsory health care insurance funds has been completed by exceeding the expenses on incomes, with a deficit amounting to 120 248.5 thousand lei.

This law shall enter into force upon its publication in the Official Journal of Moldova.
