Delegation from Bashkiria, Russia, visits Moldova

Chisinau, 22 August /MOLDPRES/ – Speaker of Parliament, Zinaida Greceanii, has met with officials from Bashkir, Russia, paying a visit to Moldova, on Thursday, 22 August, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The SP thanked the head of administration of Oktiabrskii city, Bashkir of Russia Alexei Shmelyov and MP of Krultai State Assembly, Bashkiria, Russia, Ahmet Ishhamhametov, for contribution in reconstruction of memorial: Inaltimea Lomachin, in commune Rascaieti, Stefan Voda district.

The solemn opening of the renovated memorial will take place on 23 August 2019, thus commemorating the liberation of the Stefan Voda district following the Iasi – Chisinau operation.

Zinaida Greceanii awarded the Diploma of Parliament of Ist degree to Russian officials for meritorious contributions in promoting and deepening the Moldovan – Russian relations.

The meeting was attended by Tatiana Cunetchi, head of friendship group with the Federal Council of Russia, MPs Alexandr Nesterovschi, Grigore Novac and head of Moldovan organisation Vece, ex – MP Nicolai Gutul.
