New head of Moldovagaz company appointed

Chisinau, 2 September /MOLDPRES/- Vadim Ceban was appointed chairman of the Board of Directors of Moldovagaz company, by a decision of the Observatory Council of the company. He will hold the new position starting today.
He was introduced to the enterprise team by Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Vadim Brînzan. The Minister noted that the new leadership of company must set up efficient proposals to solve the problems.
Ceban assured “he will take all efforts to ensure adopting solutions related to key-problems in the activity of the enterprise”. At the same time, he noted that the main problem that requires solutions is the uninterrupted provision of gas supplies to consumers in Moldova.
So far, Ceban has held several senior positions in state institutions and private companies. In 2005-2009 and 2010-2013, he worked at the Ministry of Economy. From 2009 to 2010, he was director-general of the National Agency for Energy Regulation. He also served as first deputy head of the executive committee of Gagauzia in 2015-2019.
In 2008-2009 and 2010-2014, Ceban was state representative and member of the Supervisory Board of Moldovagaz company.
The position of head of the Board of Directors of Moldovagaz company remained vacant in May 2018, after former head Vasile Botnari was appointed by parliament as director of the Intelligence and Security Service.
