Military service, civilian employees, veterans of armed forces honoured on occasion of National Army Day in Moldova

Chisinau, 03 September /MOLDPRES/ – On behalf of SP Zinaida Greceanii, the military, civilian staff and veterans of the armed forces were honoured on the occasion of the National Army Day which has celebrated its 28th anniversary, on Tuesday, 03 September,  the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

During a military – protocol ceremony organised on this occasion, the Secretary General of Parliament, Adrian Albu, has read the congratulations of Zinaida Greceanii, which, among other things, mentions that the National Army (AN), together with the people and the state of Moldova, passed through many transformations that have accompanied the sometimes difficult evolutions since the independence of Moldova, but it has always served as an example of patriotism, courage and devotion.

"The process of reforming and perfecting AN continues, but we can say with confidence that we are proud of our military, true ambassadors of Moldova in the exercises and missions with international mandate. The brilliant performance in the international peacekeeping missions, as well as in missions related to the elimination of natural disasters in Moldova, proves the high sense of duty and your professionalism”, says the message signed by SP Zinaida Greceanii.

On behalf of SP, more servicemen were awarded with Diplomas of Parliament, as a sign of appreciation of their high professional achievements. During the transmission ceremony, the Secretary General, Adrian Albu, has reiterated the congratulations and wishes of prosperity and peace for the military servicemen and their families, and to entire military force – health, faith and achievements in the noble defence mission of Moldova.
