U.S. dollar appreciates, euro cheapens against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 03 September /MOLDPRES/ – The value of U.S. dollar (USD) appreciates, while the cost of European single currency (EUR) cheapens against Moldovan leu (MDL), on Wednesday, 04 September, according to the official exchange rates provided by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, USD costs MDL 17.77 for $1, by MDL 0.02 more than today. On the other hand, EUR depreciates by MDL 0.02 down to an official price of MDL 19.44 for €1.

The exchange rate of Romanian leu (RON) depreciates with MDL 0.01. As a result, its value is MDL 04.11 for L1. The cost of Russian rouble (RUB) preserves its quotation of MDL 0.26 for ₽1. The same trend maintains Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH), which remains at the level of MDL 0.70 for ₴1.
