Moldovan president visits Brussels

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/- Today President Igor Dodon went on a two-day visit to Brussels.
Dodon will have meetings with many officials from the EU, NATO and Senate of Belgium. He said he will discuss the agenda of bilateral and multilateral relations with David-Maria Sassoli, European Parliament Speaker, Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, David McAllister, head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament, Maroš Šefčovič, deputy head of the European Commission for Energy Union, and Sabine Laruelle, Belgian Senate President.
"Many issues on implementation of reforms in our country, development of economic and commercial cooperation with European partners, energy agenda, regional security will be approached at the meetings," Dodon said.
The last visit of Moldovan President to the Belgian capital took place in February 2017.
Earlier this week, Igor Dodon was on a visit to the Russian Federation. Yesterday the president said that this weekend, on 7 September, has scheduled a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kremlin.
