Moldovan government annulls 04 decisions on concession of Chisinau International Airport

Chisinau, 04 September /MOLDPRES/ – The Government has annulled, on Wednesday, 04 September, 04 decisions on concession of Chisinau International Airport (AIC), voted to approve the Plan of admission to the doctoral higher studies with funding from the state budget (BS) for academic year 2019 – 2020 and appointed new state secretaries, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
At the meeting beginning, there have been appointed some state secretaries, as follows: Andrei Ciornii at the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure (MEI), Sergiu Luca and Dumitru Udrea at the Ministry of Finance (MF), Tatiana Molcean and Dinu Toderascu at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE). Also, it has been also voted the appointment of Artiom Jucov as general director of the National Anti – Doping Agency (ANA). Dorina Boghian has been also appointed as the head of the Cahul Territorial Office (OTC) of the State Chancellery and Larisa Celac as the head of the Soroca Territorial Office (OTS) of the State Chancellery. Also, Veronica Mihailov – Moraru, State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice (MJ), has been appointed as a member of the College of the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA) from the Government.
During the meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers has repealed 04 Government decisions on concession process of AIC. The reason for the repeal of these decisions is to bring the normative acts of Government in line with the legislation in force. According to Minister of Justice, Olesea Stamate, the aforementioned decisions were approved contrary to the procedures established by law, by a Government which was resigning, despite the suspension decisions issued by CC in the past.
"This repeal comes in the context of actions that we shall undertake next, based on the info presented by state institutions. The Ministry of Justice (MJ) is working on a case that will go to the court in upcoming days to request the concession contract to be canceled,” said PM Maia Sandu.
Also, the Executive has decided to complete the list of necessary accessories for the police officers, as well as additional equipment (suit, shirt and backpack) needed for staff which will benefit from continuous training courses at the Integrated Training Centre for Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI).
The Government has voted to approve the Admission Plan for doctoral higher studies, cycle III, with funding from BS for academic year 2019 – 2020. The project provides for approval of doctoral grants in the fields of: Natural sciences, engineering and technology sciences, medical sciences, agricultural sciences, social and economic sciences, humanities. In total, it will have financing from BS – 313 places. For 2020 the budgetary expenses for doctoral grants will amount to almost MDL 1,139,000.
