Sappers destroyed 22 explosive devices lately

Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/- National Army sappers neutralized 22 explosive devices in August-September. They have been identified in localities from the districts - Anenii Noi, Căuşeni, Călăraşi, Criuleni, Hâncești and in the municipalities of Balti and Chisinau.

Thus, the inhabitants of Bozieni village, Hâncești district, found on an agricultural field four artillery projectiles, 100 mm caliber. Sappers intervened and explosives were transported to a safe place, where they were neutralized.

Another demining mission, carried out by the team from the Codru Battalion, took place in the town of Bravicea, Calarasi district. They liquidated four F-1 grenades, discovered in the forest near the village.

Since the beginning of the year, military engineers have identified and destroyed about 7,000 explosive devices throughout the country.
