Moldovan president has phone conversation with counterpart of Belarus

Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexandr Lukashenko, the presidential press service has reported.

The sides exchanged views on the political situation in both countries and in the region, the possibilities of expanding and deepening bilateral relations.

The officials noted pointed out with satisfaction the intensification of contacts in all areas of common interest. Dodon reiterated that the Republic of Belarus is a reliable partner of the Republic of Moldova.

Also, they spoke about the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Union, due on 1 October in Yerevan.
