Moldovan PM to visit Washington

Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Maia Sandu will pay an official visit to the United States on 18-19 September, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

On 18 September, the prime minister will have a meeting with Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo to discuss the priorities in strengthening the strategic dialogue between the Republic of Moldova and the USA.

The visit’s agenda includes a lot of meetings with US senior officials, representatives of the US business and Moldovan citizens staying in Washington, D.C.

The delegation, led by Prime Minister Maia Sandu, includes other government members: Andrei Năstase, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs; Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration; Natalia Gavrilița, Minister of Finance; Vladislav Kulminski, advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs; Victoria Roşa, Prime Minister's advisor on Security and Defense.
