Moldovan MP of parliamentary faction ACUM, Dignity and Truth Platform, says leaves faction

Chisinau, 18 September /MOLDPRES/ - MP Octavian Ticu today informed that he left that ACUM Dignity and Truth Platform parliamentary faction. Ticu specified that he would remain independent lawmaker of the ACUM bloc.

„I am member of the ACUM bloc and I am not member either of the Dignity and Truth Platform or of the Action and Solidarity Party. I am politically non-affiliated and I will remain like this. I remain in the ACUM bloc as independent MP. The bloc needs a revival,” Octavian Ticu said.

According to him, “the decision taken today is connected with the signing of the temporary agreement between ACUM and the Party of Socialists (PSRM) and which I describe as a political error, which makes PSRM legitimate and compromises the values promoted by the ACUM bloc.”

At the same time, Octavian Ticu said that he would put up his candidacy for the office of mayor of Chisinau at the local elections due on 20 October 2019.
