Euro, U.S. dollar cheapen against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 19 September /MOLDPRES/ – At the weekend, the costs of European single currency (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD) cheapen against the value of Moldovan leu (MDL), according to the official exchange rates presented by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, USD costs MDL 17.63 for $1, in upcoming 03 days, by MDL 0.05 less than today. EUR depreciates by MDL 0.01 down to the official price of MDL 19.52 for €1.

Also, the value of Romanian leu (RON) cheapens with MDL 0.01 down to the cost of MDL 04.11 for L1.

As for the exchange rates of Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB), the BNM has set quotations similar to the ones registered today. Thus, UAH – MDL 0.71 for ₴1, and RUB – MDL 0.27 for ₽1.
