Chisinau, 20 September /MOLDPRES/- Decree on conferring the Order of the Republic to MP Eduard Smirnov was published today in the Official Journal of Moldova.
According to the document, the MP was awarded as a "high appreciation of the special merits to the state, for long and prodigious work in the public administration bodies and intense legislative and organizational activity".
Eduard Smirnov was born in Andijan city, Uzbekistan, and is 79 years old. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, a member of the PSRM faction.
