Candidate of Socialists' party of Moldova for head of mayor of Chisinau municipality says voting for change

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ – The candidate of the Socialist Party of Moldova (PSRM) for position of general mayor of Chisinau municipality, Ion Ceban, has declared at the exit of the polling station that he gave his vote for change and for Chisinau city to develop.

"I voted for the city to develop, I voted for a well – appointed, beautiful, clean, comfortable and modern city, I voted for this city to be proud of everyone – from the little ones to the big ones. I voted to bring that change that we all expect and I know we shall. The capital needs a change for the better, in order to be more beautiful, cleaner, more arranged, be the business card of the country”, said Ceban. The politician was accompanied by his wife at the polling station.

The first preliminary results of general local elections (ALG) of today will be presented by the Central Election Commission (CEC) at 22:00 hours. By 10:30 hours, there were present over 08 per cent of voters at the polling stations.
