Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ – The head of state, Igor Dodon, has said that at the general local elections (ALG) he voted for Chisinau city to be run by a professional mayor.

We all want to have a cleaner city, ensure the security of citizen. I am firmly convinced that these things are in our hands. Let us all vote, in all localities and especially in Chisinau and be active,” said Igor Dodon.
There were printed a total amount of 7.8 mln ballots for the general local elections (ALG), with over MDL 3.6 mln being spent on it. Also, alongside with ALG, there are being held new parliamentary elections (APN) in 04 uninominal constituencies today.
