Reward for state's representatives in leadership bodies of commercial companies to be cut in Moldova

Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/ - The annual reward for state’s representatives in the leadership bodies of the commercial companies will be cut, according to amendments to the regulation on state’s representation in the commercial companies, made by the cabinet today. Thus, this reward will be diminished from “up to five per cent from the annual net profit got by the company” to the ceiling “of up to one per cent of the size of the annual net profit got by the company.”   

At the same time, additionally, decision-makers suggest including the capping of the rewards paid individually per each representative of the state. In this respect, the project provides for the limiting of this reward to two average monthly salaries per company for the previous year, within the limit of the ceiling of up to one per cent from the size of the annual net profit got by the company.  

According to estimations, as a result of the amendments made, the collections to the state budget in form of dividends might amount to about 20.5 million lei.

The decision enters into force on the date of its publication.
