Moldovan president meets Serbian PM

Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon has had a meeting with Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabič in Tokyo. The officials discussed the bilateral relations and the cooperation between the two countries, the presidential press service has reported.   

The officials were unanimous in the opinion that there was a huge potential in the commercial and economic sector, which has not been turned to account as yet. The sides also spoke out for boosting the trade relations for the benefit of both states.  

At the same time, Igor Dodon reiterated Moldova’s commitment for joining efforts for the bilateral cooperation within regional and international organizations, which will lead to strengthening the stability and security both in the region and in Europe, on the whole. 

In the end of the meeting, the Serbian official handed to the Moldovan president an invitation to pay an official visit to Belgrade on 8-9 November 2019.
