Euro depreciates against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/ – The single European currency (EUR) depreciates against Moldovan leu (MDL), on Thursday, 24 October, by MDL 0.05 down to the official price of MDL 19.31.

According to the official rates of foreign exchange presented by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM), the cost of U. S. dollar (USD) remains at the quotation of MDL 17.38.

Also, the Romanian leu depreciates with MDL 0.01, down to the level of MDL 04.05. As for the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH), the BNM has established an official exchange rate of MDL 0.69, similar like today. And the value of Russian rouble (RUB) preserves its value of MDL 0.27.

According to the BNM's data, in September 2019, the value of MDL depreciated, in average values, by 0.1 per cent against USD, down to MDL 17.75, compared with MDL 17.73 in month August 2019.
