Moldovan electoral body gives four MP mandates

Chisinau, 25 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has tabulated the results of the 20 October new parliamentary elections and gave four MP mandates to the candidates elected in the uninominal districts No 17, 33, 48 and 50.
According to the CEC members, the uninominal district No 17 will be represented in parliament by a candidate on behalf of the Moldovan Democratic Party (PDM), Ghenadie Verdes, the uninominal district No 33 of the Chisinau municipality – by a candidate of the ACUM bloc, Vasile Nastase.
The residents from the uninominal district No 48, the Slobozia town, Tiraspol and Bender municipalities, delegated to parliament a candidate of the Party of Socialists, Vitalii Eftodiev.
The Central Electoral Commission on the next days will submit to the Constitutional Court the report on the results of the new parliamentary polls from 20 October 2019 for the validation of the mandates given to the lawmakers elected.
