President meets head of OSCE Mission to Moldova

Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon had a working meeting with Head of OSCE Mission to Moldova Claus Neukirch and Slovak Ambassador in our country Dušan Daho.

According to the presidential press service, the officials discussed the recent meeting of participants in the negotiations in the 5 + 2 format and stressed the need to make further efforts by all parties, intermediaries and observers in order to carry out the confidence building measures.

In this context, the officials have praised the resumption of work mechanism involving administration of president, parliament and government, which show a common approach to the Transnistrian conflict settlement.

Also, the sides approached the meeting between the Moldovan president and leader of Transnistrian region Vadim Krasnoselski, scheduled for 29 October. This will be the sixth meeting since January 2017.
