Over 3,500 people purchased home under First Home program

Chisinau, 31 October /MOLDPRES/- A total of 3560 people have purchased a home through the First home program, since its launch until now.

According to the Organization for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, the total amount of loans granted by banks for the purchase of over 3500 houses is 1.78 billion lei, and the amount of the active guarantees has exceeded 891 million lei.

The average age of the applicants is 31 years, and the average area of the purchased homes is 60 m.p. Official data also show that 44% of applicants are women and 56% - men.

Most houses purchased through the program are located in cities, the rate of those who chose to buy a house in villages - only 6%.

This program was launched in March 2018.
