Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/- Parliament's decision on the Report of the Commission of Inquiry to elucidate all circumstances of robbing banking system in the Republic of Moldova and investigation of bank fraud was published on today in the Official Journal of Moldova.
The document sees that after hearing the report, it is recommended to the speaker to find out any circumstances that would allow initiation of dismissal of deputy governors of the National Bank of Moldova Ion Sturzu and Aureliu Cincilei.
At the same time, within 60 days, the Government and the BNM will consider the opportunity of desecretizing and publishing all material related to robbing banking system, insofar as this desecretization will not prejudice the investigation.
The decision also provides that the Ministry of Finance will organize an audit on the legality of the allocation of the financial means as emergency loans by the BNM for Banca de Economii (Savings Bank), Unibank and Social Bank in 2014-2015.
Following the hearing of the report, the MPs also asked the Prosecutor General's Office "to examine the causes of stagnation, admitted by the Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office in 2015–2019, in the investigation of robbing banking system".
The Parliament decision comes into force today, once it is published in the Official Journal of Moldova.
