Moldovan PM meets ambassador of China

Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister of Moldova, Ion Chicu, has had a meeting with Ambassador of China in Chisinau, Zhang Yinghong, on Tuesday, 26 November, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
At the meeting beginning, Zhang Yinghong has sent a congratulatory message of Chinese PM to PM Ion Chicu, on the occasion of taking over the management of Government. In the letter, Prime Minister of China announces the intention to expand cooperation with Moldova in more areas of common interest.
PM Chicu has thanked for his congratulations and appreciated highly the technical assistance provided by Chinese Government to Moldova, including for non – reimbursable aid. In the context, Ion Chicu has mentioned: “It is time to move to concrete actions. We shall continue the justice reform, so as to provide investors with a predictable framework of activity.”
At his turn, Ambassador of China, Zhang Yinghong, has referred to areas of investment interest in Moldova, mentioning infrastructure projects, but also the social ones.
PM Chicu has confirmed the interest of Moldova in relation to Chinese market and specified that it can stimulate the producers in Moldova. Subsequently, the parties have expressed the intention to identify models for stimulating tourism and cultural exchanges. Both officials have noted the friendly nature of Moldovan – Chinese relations and expressed openness to intensify the collaboration in similar mode.
