Moldovan president receives accreditation letters of seven ambassadors

Chisinau, 27 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon received the accreditation letters on behalf of seven ambassadors at an official ceremony today:
- Bucharest-based Ambassador of Lebanon. Mrs. Rana Mokaddem;
- Bucharest-based Ambassador of Morocco. Mr. Hassan Abouyoub;
- Bucharest-based Ambassador of Belgium, Mr. Philippe Benoit;
- Kiev-based Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation, Mr. Claude Wild;
- Bucharest-based Ambassador of the Netherlands, Mr. Roelof S. Van Ees;
- Kiev-based Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Ki-chang Kwon;
- Jerusalem-based Ambassador of the State of Israel, Mr. Eliav Belotsercovsky.
According to the presidential press service, the head of state separately discussed with each ambassador accredited the prospects for the economic, cultural cooperation and the opportunity to turn to good account the current potential in all sectors of common interest.
The Moldovan president exchanged opinions with the foreign diplomats on the political and economic situation in Moldova, stressing that the new governance was determined to carry out the reforms underway, in strict accordance with the earlier assumed commitments. At the same time, Igor Dodon reiterated the Presidential Administration’s intention to further promote a balanced foreign policy both the countries from the East and the ones from the West.
The president of Moldova wished the officials success in their diplomatic mission. He voiced hope that, during the mandate, the bilateral relations between the sides would witness progress for the benefit of the citizens.
