More flights delayed because of fog in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 November /MOLDPRES/ - More flights were delayed because of fog today morning.

Thus, according to the official site of the Chisinau International Airport, the airship bound for Istanbul will take off with delay. At the same time, another two aircrafts, to Milan and Istanbul – will land will delay.

Today morning, meteorologists issued a yellow code of fog, valid for the entire territory of Moldova. Thus, fog will be maintained in Moldova till the noon with the visibility up to 200 metres and less.

In these conditions, the National Patrol Inspectorate has come up with a warning, asking drivers to turn on the lower beams and fog lights and endow their vehicles with winter tyres. At the same time, drivers are urged to observe the traffic rules and especially the distance between the cars, which is more difficult to be assessed during foggy weather.
