Japan to support Moldovan cabinet's efforts to reform justice, in education, health, agriculture

Chisinau, 28 November /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today met Ambassador of Japan to Moldova Masanobu Yoshii. At the meeting, the prime minister reiterated the cabinet’s commitment to continue the actions on the European integration dimension, as well as on the one of successfully completing all reforms underway, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
„So far, we have undertaken concrete steps in the justice reform sector. In the economic field, the approval of the budgetary and fiscal drafts and the massive investments in infrastructure represent priority for us. We cannot advance and cannot attract investments to Moldova without an independent justice and good roads,” Ion Chicu said.
For his part, Ambassador of Japan to Moldova Masanobu Yoshii welcomed the current government’s interest in the work of Japanese companies opened in Moldova. The diplomat encouraged the continuation of the European integration, as well as the maintaining of good relations with the foreign partners.
„Moldova needs international assistance. We are ready support the cabinet’s efforts in the process of justice reformation, as well as in the development of the economy, education, health and in agriculture,” Masanobu Yoshii said.
The prime minister thanked Japan for the contribution provided during years, as well as for the friendly relations between the two countries, which have boosted on the last period.
